(Luxembourg – September, 2018)
As of August 2018, a Business Development Unit was created within Nizi International S.A. This new unit has been tasked with developing new relationships in order to allow Nizi to broaden its scope to Solid Fuels and Special Products offers.
One the first steps is to implement an international Solid Fuel Trading. Since we have reliable sources at hand and since most of our business partners use solid fuels for their production, developing a Solid fuels activity will help us become even more valuable to our traditional partners. Backed by the strong sourcing capacity of the team, we will widen the product portfolio to our customers in the alloy, foundry and steel industries.
A second step will be to shift the focus to Special Products, for materials which are not traded within the above mentioned synergies. This new field is active in new customer areas and will help reduce dependency on steel and foundry industry in the future.
The members of this new Business Unit are experienced professionals, including Kai Knoetsch, former managing director of ThyssenKrupp’s Raw Materials, who is now directing the Business Development Unit.
