Nizi International will, as of July 2014, market the NiMag products to foundries and steelworks in Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland and Benelux. NiMag has been selling its products in Europe for many years and has decided to appoint Nizi International as its exclusive distributor in these markets.

The NiMag Group is a globally significant producer of specialised nickel magnesium, ferro-nickel magnesium and other master alloys for use in processes requiring the efficient nodularisation of graphite to produce spheroidal graphite (SG) iron, as well as desulphurisation and deoxidation where the metallurgy requires the use of magnesium or calcium as the scavenger. Products are batch produced in South Africa at the Magaliesburg foundry using induction furnaces. The products are used in a wide variety of applications in the foundry, aerospace, power, petrochemical and motor industries.
